Life is crazy right now!!! At work we are gearing up for the holiday season and at home we are picking out new countertops and flooring. The Baking with Basil kitchen is getting a face lift!! I can’t wait to share before and after pictures. All this running around has left little time for me in the kitchen. In fact, it’s been over 2 weeks since I have baked anything. TEAR!! I actually think I’m going to make it home tonight in time to whip something up though. So stop back soon for some new tasty treats!!

What are you doing in your kitchen?? I would LOVE to redo mine. Our refrigerator has been slowly dying for about 2 years, but it still keeps on kicking…lol! I *wish* it would just die so I have an excuse for a new one! I would LOVE a convection oven too…maybe I’ll have to break it so I can get a new one

The wall that divides our kitchen and living room doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling. We are going to lower the wall and put in an island. More cabinet space!!!! YAY!!! And we are putting down tile! I’m soo excited!!
Let me know how the soup turns out!! I made Pumpkin Black Bean soup last year and it was sooo good. I thought about making it again this weekend. The recipe should be under the ‘Recipe’ tab if you want to change up your spices. I saw you were missing a few. Ha ha!
